2016 Season - Training Camp (Cont)

This year’s big names becoming available include QB Drew Brees, Running Backs DeMarco Murray, Eddie Lacy and Matt Forte & Receivers Alshon Jeffrey, Antonio Brown and Brandon Marshall as they have all ended their 2 year franchise designation and become free agents. They are released onto the open market together with the rookies - the rookie report (attached) details the 23 players from the first 3 rounds of the NFL Draft who may be available to us this season, together with who signed them. According to CBS Sports the key free agency moves affecting the BUMS were:- Bengal wideout Marvin Jones who left for the Lions, Denver QB Brock Osweiler who is now in Houston, Lamar Miller who joins Osweiler in Houston from Miami and Matt Forte who now carries the ball for the Jets not the Bears anymore. Travis Benjamin will be catching balls in San Diego not Cleveland and Tight End Coby Fleener has taken his pass receiving skills from the Colts to the Saints. As a result they will be out of the country for the whole of August so please respond to any BUMS communication in good time to help the start of the new season flow smoothly. Why the second biggest sporting event of the year I hear you ask? Well the biggest is obviously the BUMS NFL Fantasy Draft which takes place at BUMS Headquarters from 7.30pm on Sunday September 4th (have you made a note of it in your diary yet?). If you cannot make it to HQ for the draft we will have the google BUMS sheet operational for live drafting or you can phone in or supply a draft plan by email earlier, for someone present to draft for you. All the information you need for drafting will be sent out in the usual annual Pre-Season Guide before we fly out on July 31st. Team Nicknames If you wish to change your teams nickname you can do so, again this should be with me by July 1st.
